This walk crosses farmland and rises to the edge of the open hilltop of Merbach Hill. An extension to the walk allows you to visit the summit of Merbach Hill to enjoy its superb all-round views, to the Malverns as well as into mid-Wales.

The Pandy Inn is a 12th-century free house and is the oldest pub in Herefordshire. It serves excellent home-made food, with a slight Polish influence, and there is a wide menu to suit all tastes.
